Unfortunately, I know what it feels like to be unseen and unheard.
Those seasons weighed heavily on my spirit and left wounds deeper than words could express.
It took time, healing, and God’s grace to undo the damage those feelings created within me.
But I learned that being overlooked by people does not diminish your value in the eyes of God.
Your voice matters.
Your heart matters.
And you deserve to be surrounded by people who truly see you.
It is a great awakening when you can accept that: some people will hear your words but never truly understand your heart.
And it is freedom when you realize that if you spend your whole life trying to explain your spirit to people who are committed to misunderstanding you, you will slowly lose pieces of yourself in the process.
But here’s the truth: God never intended for you to live unseen, unheard, or emotionally stranded. He created us for connection, for fellowship, and for relationships rooted in truth, love, and understanding.
There is something sacred about finding people who “get” you without forcing you to shrink, edit, or constantly defend who you are.
The right people bring peace, not confusion. They create space for your voice instead of silencing it.They save you a seat at the table and welcome you with warmth before you even arrive. They pay attention to the little things you love and never try to remake you into someone else.
Real love does not demand that you disappear to make others comfortable.
It honors who you are and thanks God for your presence.
Even Jesus surrounded Himself with those who understood His heart, while many others twisted His words and rejected His purpose. Not everyone will understand your calling, your healing, or your journey—and that’s okay.
I pray you find relationships that feel like rest instead of labor. I pray you find people who speak kindness fluently, who honor honesty, and who recognize the language of your soul.
